Felt toys are the perfect gift for a child with an active imagination. Since my son loves it when I make him felt toys, I made him a toadstool, complete with a wee butterfly!

Back in 2010, I joined the "Make it Green" Campaign, which is based in Germany, with my other blog. Basically, by joining the campaign, they'll plant a tree for your blog. This allows you to reduce/offset your blog's carbon footprint. Isn't that awesome? Here's how it works:
Recently, I received an email from Diane Germann, from Green Gestures, Make it Green's sister site based in the US. I'm delighted to join this year's campaign to make my craft blog green too :) If you'd like to learn more about how to participate, just click on this link.

You know, for some reason, I've always been fascinated by radishes. Here, in Malaysia, they're imported from Europe, and so they're pretty hard to come by and expensive. I have a vague memory of having one when I was little, and I liked its red colouring and shape. I suppose I thought it was cute! While looking for a sewing project recently, I thought of the radish and made this :)

I love making felt food, but I haven't really tried my hand at making Malaysian felt food. So, when a BFF asked me to make her a curry puff, I took on the challenge with glee. Here's the result...
It's actually making me crave for a potato curry puff!
Actually, when you turn it around, it has an elastic band on the back that will enable it to be turned into a wrist pin cushion!
Of course, my son wanted one, but with a face!
