Kuih lapis from felt

Remember my felt curry puff? Well, my BFF asked me to make her another pincushion inspired by a Malaysian snack... kuih lapis. Here's the result...

It looks ok here, but to be honest, I with I could make the white stripes less "embossed."

This one's a wrist pin cushion too, spot the elastic band at the back :)

I love making felt food, but I haven't really tried my hand at making Malaysian felt food. So, when a BFF asked me to make her a curry puff, I took on the challenge with glee. Here's the result...

It's actually making me crave for a potato curry puff!

Actually, when you turn it around, it has an elastic band on the back that will enable it to be turned into a wrist pin cushion!

Of course, my son wanted one, but with a face!
